GHC maintains benchmarks from over 500 comparator hospitals for 73 patient-care and 50 support-service areas. GHC first benchmarks each department's total expense, followed by detailed expense types (wages, benefits, purchased services and professional fees, and supplies).

In addition to the expense analyses, GHC provides clients with departmental productivity analyses, using both paid and productive hours. And, for even greater detail, we analyze departmental skill mix and wage rates for the following job categories:
